KACAP unites, strengthens, and protects community action agencies and the people and communities we serve. We are the ground upon which we celebrate and strengthen our common bonds. KACAP is the larger picture in your local, state and national efforts to end poverty. CAAs, by design, focus their energies and resources at the local level where they can achieve significant results in ending the cycle of poverty. But the world of community action and the influence of poverty extend beyond individual city and county boundaries. The CAA network is national in scope, political in nature, and exists in an increasingly resource-competitive environment. It just makes sense for individual agencies to come together in a united voice.
